This tiara was comissioned for a lady who just loved amethyst. Hand crafted from 14k gold fill the tiara has loops at the ends to use with hairclips. Although this piece is quite ornate it still remained very light and easy to wear. There was approx 7cts of Amethyst and 2cts of White Topaz.
The lady that had these beautiful blue topaz, had been carrying them around in her bag for months hoping to find someone who would set them for her. They were a gift from her husband who had visited Thailand. She saw my work at a craft fair and asked me to do somthing with her three stones, she totally left the design to me and all she asked was that the jewellery be in silver this is what happened. She was delighted.
This necklace was crafted from sterling silver and each panel was different to its neighbour. The panel held Amethyst, swarovski and silver beads. The chain you see at the bottom of the necklace was to hold a large Amethyst pendant, this chain clipped onto the panel necklace and could be removed. I also made matching earrings to complement the necklace.
This delicate garnet necklace was created to mirror the top of the bride’s gown. Very airy and delicate it moved and shimmered with each step
Dramatic 'Art Deco styling and encrusted with sparkle. AB Swarovski crystal complements rows of genuine pure white topaz all set in sterling silver.
The lines of the tiara were designed to complement stitching detail on the sides of the brides gown. This truly was a one off piece that I am sure will be treasured for generations to come.
Surprising though this might sound this piece of amber used to be a key ring the lady who owned it had loved it for many years but wanted it to be something more ornate that she could wear rather than just a key ring.
